The World at Our Fingertips
When you think of the world, what do you think of? Animals, global warming, or even bouncy balls! I made an earth bouncy ball out of clay. Here it is. Comment what you think of this.

Auditions
This week, next week, and the week after that I am not doing camp with Miss Miller. I am doing Fine Arts Camp at my school. Every summer we do atleast 1 play. This summer we are doing Cinderella! Today are auditions and I'm really nervous. I want to be Anastasia or Drizzella. My friend Alexa wants to be one of the step sisters too. We are both hoping to be them. For any actors reading this, when you do auditions, audition for every part so they know you are able to do all the parts. I don't have any pics, but I will bring my camera and take some. I promise!

Miami Seaquarium
Today, we didn't have art camp. It was ok because my mom took Emmy and Me to the Miami Sequarium. It was so much fun!!!!! The highlight of the summer would probably be when we did the dolphin encounter and played with them. The only bad part was wearing the really tight wetsuit.
This is a female manatee of 9 calves. Her name is Juliette.
This is a sting ray.
This parrot was scaring me. I don't know why.
Emmy and I were in our very uncomfortable wetsuits. We managed to squeeze out some smiles though.
Here we are with one of the dolphin trainers named Sue.
I shook hands with a dolphin. I didn't get too close because I didn't want to be splashed.
I hugged a cute dolphin named Jupiter. He was 4 years old. Very smart for a baby though.
Here I am in the water almost soaked entirely by the splashing dolphins.
Watching the dolphin wasn't very fun. Playing with him was!!!!
Emmy and I smile in the shallow end of the dolphin encounter.
Emmy and I goof off at the water playground.
Cheese!!!!
Seals or Sea Lions, I forget which they are.
This seal or sea lion is named Baby because she is much shorter than the other seal or sea lions her age.

Fourth Day at Camp
On the fourth day at camp, we went to the pool in our fabulous art teacher Miss Miller's development. After swimming, we ate delicious pizza and worked on our blogs!

Here Vicky and I smile while we are driving home.

Cheers to fun at Camp Coconut Milk and Honey.

Yummy pizza!!!!!!:-)

Here all three of us are posting and editing our blogs.

I dip my feet in after a good swim.
Third Day at Camp
On the third day at camp, we went to the Miami Art Museum!!!! Here are some cool pics.

I struck a pose in the light room where we had to wear really weird shoes.

Here Emmy, Vickie, and me were dancing in a room of flashing lights.

Here I was pretending to hold up a ball in the flashing light room.

When we stepped outside the light room, the camera didn't show our faces.
Me(middle), Vickie(left), and Emmy(right)

Emmy, Vickie, and me in the three parts of the light room.

On the computers, Vickie, Em, and I tried making pictures just like Carlos Cruz-Diez.
Second Day at Camp
The First Day at Camp
The first day of camp we went to the Miami Public Library. We went to the art section and picked books of our fave artists. Then we took pics of some pieces and put them on our blogs.

Picasso usually does abstract art, but I understand what he may have been thinking. A French man in the circus was getting ready for his first show. The colors explain his excitement.

When I see this and imagine being there, I hope not to fall off the steep cliff. The right half looks happy, but the left has been cursed by a dull, dark storm cloud. I would hope to live in the sunny place off in the distance. Although it's primitive, it looks exciting to live in.
M.c. Escher

This piece by M.C. Escher makes me think of someone studying art. The lizards in the testallation are trying to escape and be free. For a few seconds they are alive, but once they hit the testallation again their lives vanish and become art.
